Exhale — the moment when you no longer have to hold yourself together.

Exhale explores what happens when a person no longer performs, proves or holds themselves together for the world.
Through soft gestures, quiet light and intimate proximity, the series studies a state that many people rarely allow themselves to enter: genuine rest.
These photographs are not about sleep, productivity or self-improvement.
They are about the moment after effort, when the body begins to soften and return to itself.
